In the event your puppy is lost it can be a valuable resource in re-locating
your pet.
It will be your responsibility to keep your current contact information up to date.
You have the option to register your puppy with AKC.
They also offer information on the breed standards, health and genetic issues.
They
are available by phone or email if any concerns arise they can help to point you in the right direction.
You have the option to register your puppy with ASCA.
They were organized before AKC accepted the
Australian Sheperd into their registry.
If
your puppy's sire and dam are double registered you can register with them as well if you desire.

dog I hope you will be interested in testing your prospective sire or dam for genetic health issues.
