This is a pre-paid enrollment and there are no future fees.
In the event your puppy is lost it can be a valuable resource in re-locating your pet.

You have the option to register your puppy with AKC.
They also offer information on the breed standards, health and genetic issues.
They are available by phone or email if any concerns arise they can help to point you in the right direction.

You have the option to register your puppy with ASCA.
They were organized before AKC accepted the
Australian Sheperd into their registry.
If your puppy's sire and dam are double registered you can register with them as well if you desire.
Their website also offers a great deal of information on the breed as well as health and testing resources.

This is a link to Washington State College of Veterinary Medicine.  They do a great deal of testing if you plan to breed your dog I hope you will be interested in testing your prospective sire or dam for genetic health issues.
They also have a great deal of information on possible adverse drug reactions due to a gene called MDR1 that you and your veterinarian will want to be aware of when your pet needs veterinary care.                              Drug Reactions

breeder of Australian Sheperds.  Their entire family is involved in promoting, training, breeding, showing and judging.
